"Shower of Gold Two" is an original cyanotype with light touches of watercolor. This bush carries delicate little yellow flowers that peek out from its glossy pointed leaves. It is one of my favorites in my garden as it blooms almost year-round. Cyanotypes are one of photography's oldest printing processes. This one-of-a-kind print features a distinctive cyan blue shade, which results from its exposure to ultraviolet light. I used plants from my garden to block the UV rays and create unique, botanical silhouettes. Additional chemicals, dyes, and watercolors are added to create a truly one-of-a-kind artwork.
