Large Original Abstract 48" x 48" x 1.5" depth created on a solid birch wooden panel.

This large painting was created in layers of gold leaf, silver leaf, Swarovski crystal, glass crystals, shattered mirror, and German glass glitter.

Each layer is sealed with a coat of resin. When exposed to light it creates a beautiful and intricate gleam. It has depth, it is luminous and glamorous.

I was born in Brazil, where I was exposed to the arts from a young age and began my formal artistic education in São Paulo. My journey took me to Toronto, Canada, where I pursued my passion for the arts further by studying at The Academy of Design and Technology. As a student, I was captivated by the works of prominent artists such as Kandinsky, Klimt, and Miró, which inspired me to delve deeper into the realm of contemporary art. This exploration led me to engage in the cultural dialogue surrounding identity, community, and nationality.

As an artist, I am known for my versatility, constantly experimenting with a wide range of mediums including inks, acrylics, resin, gold leaf, glass, crystals, and gemstones. My artistic approach is characterized by my use of vibrant hues, which I believe adds a sense of novelty to my work, providing an insightful glimpse into my creative mind. I express myself through my paintings, which are rich in symbolism, drawing on my personal experiences and emotions to project my unique perspective onto the canvas.

In 2018, I founded "The Robyn Camargo Art Studio", where I honed my unique style of expression, which I later branded as "Wall Jewelry". I create paintings from my art studio, selling my works both online and offline to private collectors both locally and internationally.

I take pride in using only professional-grade paints and canvases in the creation of my art. Additionally, all my paintings are sealed and UV-protected, ensuring the longevity and vibrancy of their colors.
