Janet Botes (1984-) is a visual artist working in various media, which include Land Art, Installation Art, Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital Art, Waste Art and Assemblage - and involves her working just as much in the outdoors than in the studio. She prefers working with natural materials or with found/discarded objects, and also facilitates workshops and creative learning experiences in outdoor spaces.

Janet's art is the most purest and authentic I have ever seen. Her art makes you remember who you are, where you come from and also inspires you to find your own true path without even thinking to hard. Sometimes just being and experiencing is the hardest thing for a busy person like me, and yet her work makes me stop and think. I have many of her works and it inspires me everyday and reminds me about the things which really matter, e.g. life, breath, earth, plants, trees, animals and people.

Janet is such a natural talent. Her earthy palette is soothing and contemplative reinforced by heaps of technical skill. She's so professional and prompt in her service and delivery. Her art will enhance any home/office/commercial space. I have 3 pieces on my walls so far and could deficantely do with more!
