More About This Creator

Q&A

How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?

"Before being completed, my artworks very often change or veer away from my initial intention, as it responds to external influences such as audience/client feedback, natural elements like the wind, additional resources becoming available, or changes in my personal life philosophy. I do not attach myself too strongly to desired outcome, but allow myself to 'go with the flow'."

Q&A

What do you want people to do or feel when they encounter your creations?

"I want to inspire and uplift people's spirit, giving them hope. Allowing them to see the beauty of our world, the beauty of the natural world."

Q&A

What funny moments, unexpected surprises, or obstacles have you encountered?

"An artist needs to be able to think on their feet... Even more so if you work in the outdoors or in public spaces! For one of my installation pieces the meaning and intention of the work literally changed in the exact moment that someone walked over the artwork, scattering sand all across the floor and the rest of the artwork! Instead of simply being an artwork celebrating biodiversity, the artwork became an interactive piece where people were literally 'treading upon' the land, destroying the artwork by walking over it."
