Natural Materials

Easy to hang, this set of 3 adds a touch of elegance to your space. Each piece is hand thrown porcelain with ivory crystalline and azure blue glazes. Sizes are approximately 9.5" in diameter for the large that is layered with a smaller azure, along with 2 pieces, sized between 4-5". As each grouping is handmade their can be slight variances.
Each piece is embedded with a "keyhole" and hangs easily with a single screw.

Porcelain Wall Installations and Decorative Vessels

I am a ceramic artist working primarily with porcelain, a material I have been devoted to since I first began working with clay in 1974 at the age of eighteen. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion, and my work has continued to evolve over decades of exploration and practice.

Today, I focus on creating wall-based installations, for not only residential spaces but often in collaboration with art consultants for public and commercial spaces, including cruise lines, corporate environments, healthcare settings, and the hospitality sector. These large-scale works allow me to engage directly with architectural space, creating pieces that are both immersive and responsive to their surroundings.

I am inspired by organic forms and the expressive potential of color. My process is intuitive and embraces the spontaneous nature of clay—each piece develops through a balance of control and unpredictability. Working primarily as a self-taught artist has allowed me the freedom to experiment, refine my techniques, and follow a deeply personal creative path.

Through my work, I aim to bring a sense of movement, texture, and vitality to the environments they inhabit, inviting viewers to connect with the natural rhythms and forms that inspire me.
