When I painted this peaceful abstract tondo, I was struck by the incredible studies and efforts made by scientists to bring the ocean reef back again to its vitality, depth and exuberance. How precious to be able to see it again intact and unspoiled by human pollution. This imaginary landscape painting makes me feel closeness to the priceless value, radiance and charme of a nature cared for by humans.
