This sculptural set is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of yin and yang — not as a literal symbol, but as a living dialogue between contrast and harmony. Two figures stand side by side, mirroring and opposing each other through color, gesture, and presence. Black and white are not absolutes here; they interact, overlap, and echo one another through spontaneous splashes and lines.
Inspired by the energy and freedom of Jackson Pollock, I approached the surface intuitively, allowing movement and rhythm to define each form. The splattered acrylic, sealed with lacquer, gives the metal a sense of motion and depth, transforming solid material into something expressive and alive.
This is not simply a pair of figures, but a unified artwork — a conversation about duality, balance, and coexistence. While the sculptures are conceived as a set, each piece is also a complete artwork on its own and may be purchased separately if desired.
