Various angled 15° cuts are made to create the relief underneath the bench and create a lighter weight and aesthetically pleasing surface. The bench is farther chard using the Japanese technique of Yuka Sugi, And finished in multiple coats of boiled linseed oil to create a waterproof and soot free surface for sitting.</p>
