This wood-fired masterpiece represents a radical "Craft Evolution" of traditional Qinghua porcelain. By harmonizing the deep, ink-wash gradients of cobalt oxide with the vibrant vitality of copper-red ions, it achieves a visual complexity rarely seen in modern ceramics. This cup is a dialogue between elements: the "five shades of blue" meeting the unpredictable "beauty of copper" within a 1320°C reduction flame.
The Innovation of Material and Color
The breakthrough lies in the material—a proprietary blend of heritage Kaolin and high-temperature Yingqing glaze. This fusion creates an "ice-like" translucency that replaces the heavy aesthetic of the past with a luminous, jade-like clarity. Using a signature "Layered Wash" (Shuifen) technique, the Smalt blue pigments are allowed to diffuse across the clay like ink on silk, creating a mesmerizing depth beneath the signature ice-crackle glaze.
