Women at play in a spiky world 03 is part of an ongoing body of work exploring play, softness, and aliveness inside environments that can feel sharp, demanding, or overstructured.
Painted in acrylic on raw canvas, the work balances loose, gestural mark-making with areas of open material, allowing the texture of the canvas itself to remain visible. The figures and forms are not rendered as fixed narratives so much as fragments of movement and feeling—bodies navigating, adapting, resting, reaching, and finding pleasure within a world that does not always make softness easy.
