This handmade wood beauty is 35" tall with it's shade. I've been preferring the drum shade close to the top, but originally I topped with with a sandstone colored pleated shade. You can let me know, these are made to order. All of our poplar wood is finished with a clear coat or you can order painted white (images coming). The switch is on the brass socket and there is a cloth covered cord that's about 10'.

Handmade Objects for the Home

Trained as an industrial designer—with years designing for industry powerhouses like West Elm and David Weeks—Amy's work is the result of an intentional spontaneity that allows the concepts and processes of each piece to inform the final product. Each piece starts with a sketch, followed by a 3D model, glaze trials, technical drawings and, of course, numerous failed attempts.
After years of working exclusively in clay, Perch Objects has recently begun revisiting other materials — namely brass, concrete and wood — embracing a more experimental approach to the process.
