Connoting mid-century wool panel-weaving aesthetics, a 6x9 vintage kilim rug originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960. This particular design plays two distinct halves into one relishing prevailing tones of rare purple, accented with whimsical stripes of blue, brown, and a myriad of other playful hues. Connoisseurs may further note the uncommon pink presence in the polychromatic scheme is more from a play of purple and red, which lends an interesting dimension to an already distinguished piece for this period.

Further enjoying good condition with minimal wear and a mild shabby-chic element in the texture.
