Hand knotted in high quality wool originating from Turkey in 1940, this vintage Oushak rug enjoys both an uncommon vertically mirrored Mihrab medallion field design and muted quarter diamond floral patterns, both set against artisan beige backgrounds and sunset orange borders respectively. The balanced orientation of these rejuvenative motifs throughout the field and border pile alike creates an inviting dimensionality that is complementary to this conservative yet vibrant design.
