Hand woven circa 1980, this vintage Kilim enjoys a play of embroidery and flat weave technique, creating the subtle high-low definition in the central geometry with an alluring sense of movement; complemented by a striped array of beige-brown hues with orange tribal hook motifs (widely believed to signify the tools of tribal rug weavers in varied cultural interpretations). This Kilim further boasts a blend of angora wool and pre-Colombian textile yarn in the body, the latter of which is renowned for durability as well as a natural luster like that seen in these glowing orange, red, and brown colorway hues.
