256 16mm dots decoupaged with images from vintage encyclopaedias and mounted geometrically, interspersed with dots faced in gold leaf. I collect and sort hundreds and hundreds of images from antique books. I group them by theme and over time amass enough of a certain theme to create an artwork.Some of these little images are from vintage books of up to approx 70 years old. I am particularly drawn to the vintage imagery that's created using old litho print methods. The colours of the landscapes are often a violet or green hue.Available unframed or framed in a handmade solid wood black box frame with a museum-quality UV perspex glaze to protect the artwork from fade. Framed size: 53cm x 53cmCarefully wrapped and packaged inside a custom-made box with protective corners for safe shipping worldwide.
