This is Rufio, and yes, that bow tie is intentionally oversized. He belongs to my sister and he has opinions about everything.
This was one of my earlier illustrations and it's still one of the most fun. Clean lines, bold colours, and a cat who looks like he's about to host a talk show.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Catherine Hébert is a wildlife and animal artist based in Montreal, Canada. She has a background in visual effects and brings that same eye for detail and colour to every painting. Many of her pieces are inspired by real animals she's met. A crow on a hotel balcony in DC, a round pigeon in a Seoul subway station, a pheasant who keeps showing up in her sister's yard in Nova Scotia. She also paints live during her weekly Thursday evening livestream, where viewers hang out, chat, and sometimes even name the paintings!
