READY TO SHIP – “RICO II”, a one-of-a-kind large-scale fiber artwork
RICO II is an original wall hanging, hand-dyed and handcrafted from alpaca and sheep’s wool. Layers of hand-arranged fringe create a soft, sculptural surface with depth and movement that shifts with the light throughout the day.
The piece is built as two panels that hang side by side as one continuous composition. Its width makes it a focal point for long walls in lobbies, reception areas, restaurants, dining rooms and wide hallways.
Each piece is dyed, cut and finished by hand. Slight variations in color and texture are a natural part of handmade fiber art and make every piece unique.
