This is Isengrin, a cuddly striped tabby cat with big heart-shaped paws!
He was named after Ysengrin the Wolf from the medieval French tale "Le Roman de Renart" (Reynard the Fox). Despite the fierce name, he was the sweetest cat.
This pink-background version is soft and cheerful, perfect for a nursery or kids room. An original illustration by Catherine Hébert 😸
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Catherine Hébert is a wildlife and animal artist based in Montreal, Canada. She has a background in visual effects and brings that same eye for detail and colour to every painting. Many of her pieces are inspired by real animals she's met. A crow on a hotel balcony in DC, a round pigeon in a Seoul subway station, a pheasant who keeps showing up in her sister's yard in Nova Scotia. She also paints live during her weekly Thursday evening livestream, where viewers hang out, chat, and sometimes even name the paintings!
