Varnished with archival gloss to protect from UV, humidity, and dust.
This series was inspired by the connection between femininity and water and the introspective moments it’s reflection can provide us. A journey of ebbs and flows, each piece is an invitation to slow down and reflect.
As women we ebb and flow through life’s ups and downs, keeping our head above the water. Water doesn’t resist obstacles, but flows through and around them. It makes its way through hurdles of stones and seeps through cracks, always fluid and alive.
Water can take on many forms. Whether it be a gentle trickle of a fountain or a crashing wave in the sea, much like the intricate emotions we all experience through life.
In nature, water is the only way to view our own reflection and I hope this collection gives you a moment to see what comes to the surface.
This artwork does not come framed. I recommend a floater frame for her or hung with the raw canvas edge exposed for a modern look. The sides of this canvas have slight overspill of paint and artist smudges. Handsigned with artist signature in lower left corner.
This painting will be shipped boxed flat, and will remain on the stretcher bars.
