Framed in a 2-inch deep white solid wood floater frame.
This is the silhouette of the branches of an oak tree at sunrise. It's as if you were walking beneath the trees or looking out a window onto a forest.
The sap green color of the leaves is a thin translucent under layer and the paler butter yellow sky was painted on top. The effect is that the sky appears to glow or hum. The leaves are painted with softened edges increasing the sense of the world just coming into focus at sunrise. Though the sky appears almost white in contrast with the darker leaves, it is actually a pale cream or butter yellow.
