Original architecturally scaled paintings on canvas that inhabit space, engage perception, and shape the rhythm of residential and hospitality interiors.
Leilani Norman's work inhabits the space between abstraction and environment, where color, form, and texture converge to shape immersive landscapes. At an architectural scale, her paintings, watercolors, and prints explore human experience and the rhythms of nature, engaging light, surface, and spatial perception. Each piece is designed to activate walls and transform interiors, from hospitality and commercial spaces to private residences.
Norman brings an uncommon perspective to this work. A two-time Interior Design Best of Year finalist with over twenty years of engagement with the design world, she also holds a Master's degree Couple and Family Therapy, a BS in psychology and women's studies, and a certificate in gerontology — a background that informs her longstanding interest in what art does in spaces where people are vulnerable. How a painting orients, steadies, and opens perception is not incidental to her practice. It is central to it.
