This piece is made to order • The photos below are a bespoke recreation of our original piece “still water, mini”. We are able to recreate the conceptual framework of this piece, with each being its own unique being. Subtle indiviualizations within the organic nature of the artwork itself (indigo pigment will be the same color with small textural differences) and poplar frame: wood chosen with the main focus being sourcing dramatic, swoon-worthy grains within the wood. We can customize this piece to be as similar or different as you'd like— please feel free to reach out.

MINERALS / MEDIUMS:

layers of concrete, ground blue kyanite, and sand on linen canvas dyed using crushed indigo leaf pigment steeped in hot water. The canvas is then mounted on a piece of maple and set in a handcrafted rainbow poplar frame.

My wife and I had the pleasure of chatting with Taylor and Connor while dining at our restaurant, as they were visiting New York City. We exchanged contacts and later decided to purchase a custom painting for our new home. During our conversation when we met, the couple called themselves a “small business”. After our encounter with them professionally, we have to say that statement is a complete injustice to the masterpieces this couple curate together….

Taylor’s attentive nature and attention to detail during the entire process was refreshing. We labor a handful of creatives yearly for our businesses, and their humble generosity is unmatched. Despite a tight lead time our art arrived before deadline, in pristine condition, and with a most impressive framed biographical description of the works.

We look forward to working with the Robinson’s again. We will share the photographs of our new art in our Miami home when we receive them.
