The Tronco Console Set of 3 is a collection of mirror-polished stainless steel sculptural console tables by Nitush Aroosh, part of the Tronco Collection (2023–2025). Each console adopts the vertical form of a log section — upright, textured, and reflective — designed to function as a composed trio or to stand independently.
Produced through hydroforming — steel inflated under high water pressure into hollow, lightweight forms — each piece is then hand-hammered to develop the surface texture that characterises the series. No two pieces resolve in the same way.
The mirror-polished finish brings the surrounding environment into the work. As light changes across the day, reflections of room and viewer shift continuously across each surface — the outdoor world translated into steel and held indoors.
Hollow throughout and around 30% lighter than cast equivalents, the consoles perform equally well indoors and out, with Grade 304 stainless steel providing rust resistance over time.
Founded in New Delhi by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal, Nitush Aroosh is a self-taught collectible design studio centred entirely on the transformation of stainless steel into sculptural objects. Every piece is hydroformed and resolved by hand.
