The Lasso Coffee Table is a sculptural stainless steel and glass coffee table by Nitush Aroosh, part of the Lasso Collection (2025). Its mirror-polished base twists and coils beneath a transparent glass top like a rope caught at the moment of greatest unfurling — a gesture frozen at its point of maximum tension.
Each base is formed through hydroforming — steel shaped under high water pressure — then hand-worked into the looping, rope-like forms that characterise the series. The hand-hammered surface catches and fragments light as the viewer moves around the piece.
Mirror-polished surfaces absorb and transform the surrounding environment, so each piece reads differently depending on its placement and the quality of light available. The tension between dynamic form and still, reflective surface is where the collection finds its meaning.
The glass top keeps the base fully visible from every angle — as functional as a centrepiece table and as strong as a standalone sculptural object, suited to both contemporary residential and hospitality interiors.
