The Levitar Bench is a sculptural stainless steel and textile bench by Nitush Aroosh. A polished stainless steel frame with flowing, undulating lines supports a tensioned fabric seat — folds and curves that suggest forms shaped by internal force, held at the point of maximum expression.
Formed through hydroforming and resolved by hand, the reflective steel frame scatters light from a distance — architecturally bold in silhouette, considered and refined in its surface detail.
Polished steel and tensioned textile share a structural logic — both are shaped through tension — which gives the piece its formal coherence and the visual rhythm that runs through it.
Founded in New Delhi by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal, Nitush Aroosh is a self-taught collectible design studio whose practice centres on transforming stainless steel into sculptural objects. Each piece is hydroformed and resolved by hand — no two are ever alike.
