The Grand Canyon Accent Table is a sculptural stainless steel accent table set by Nitush Aroosh, part of the Grand Canyon Collection. Presented as a pair, each table's mirror-polished, textured sides catch and distort light in a way that evokes the drama of the canyon walls — while smooth matte tops provide a calm and practical working surface.
Each piece is shaped through hydroforming and hand-hammering, the surface texture developed more deeply and deliberately than in the studio's earlier work. The resulting forms read like geological cross-sections: layered, tactile, and carrying the visible record of forces working over time.
Mirror-polished sides capture and distort light with considerable intensity, evoking the way light plays across canyon rock faces. Matte tops offer calm contrast — smooth and still against the expressive surfaces surrounding them.
Compact and adaptable, the set functions in pairs or as individual pieces — bringing the geological density of the collection to living rooms, bedrooms, and entrance spaces.
Founded in New Delhi by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal, Nitush Aroosh is a self-taught collectible design studio whose practice centres on transforming stainless steel into sculptural objects. Each piece is hydroformed and resolved by hand.
