This mixed media art on paper is created with many different materials. They include several collage papers, powdered graphite and sepia powers, acrylic paints, and India ink. The owl is a potent and mysterious symbol in many cultures - thus the ghostly writing within the collage.
Size of art is 44 x 30", framed to 47 1/2 x 341/2 x 1", Commissioned by collectors in 2019.

Artist Joanne Beaule Ruggles has created a unique embossed drawing of a woman’s corset from the 1940s / 1950s. It is perfect hanging on the walls of my salon because I have used vintage artifacts as decorative items. This artwork is a great addition to my decor and elicits interest and comments on a regular basis.
