This painting started off as landscape format but then never got finished. The canvas was then put on another wall, portrait format, and then waited there for a few years until the precise right moment to finish it. During the few years waiting period the wall was required for something else, so another canvas was stapled over it, a slightly smaller one so that it created nice edges, the edges always being the best bit. The original has sold.
It often doesn't take much time at all to finish a painting, however you do have to wait for exactly the right time.
Mediums include acrylic, ink, marker, imitation gold leaf, gesso, collage and spray paint.
