Designed, built, and hand-painted in my Florida studio, this piece was created as functional art rather than ordinary furniture. Every brushstroke is painted freehand, without prints, decals, or stencils, allowing the artwork to emerge naturally through layers of paint and time.
The soft whitewashed finish reveals the natural grain of the wood, while the slim silhouette makes the console equally at home in an entryway, hallway, or living space. A functional drawer offers discreet storage, and the lower shelf provides room for books or carefully chosen objects.
Crafted from solid poplar wood and finished with multiple protective coats, this console is designed to be lived with for generations while remaining a unique work of art.
