This piece explores the tension between vulnerability and protection through layered abstraction and tactile surface. The work reflects an ongoing interest in the ways softness can function as both a visual language and a form of strength.



Built through accumulated layers of paint and mixed media, the composition balances moments of structure with areas that feel more organic and unsettled. I’m drawn to surfaces that hold evidence of process - layering, disruption, concealment, and revision becoming part of the meaning of the work itself.

I've always been a maker. Long before I considered myself an artist, I was drawn to yarn, fabric, color, and the satisfaction of creating something with my hands. After a career in accounting, I found my way back to those instincts and began building a studio practice rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and material exploration.

My work spans painting, fiber, and mixed media, often weaving together flowers, figures, textiles, and layered imagery. I'm interested in the stories we carry, the ways we grow and change, and the tension between vulnerability and strength.

I hope my work invites people to slow down, look closely, and discover something new each time they return to it.
