A student of design, France is a former early childhood educator of 14 years turned natural dye artist after finally pursuing design when schools shut down during the pandemic. Born and raised in the Philippines, she currently resides in San Diego, California where she naturally dyes textiles using raw dyestuffs such as flowers, leaves, and food waste.

A product of a pandemic pivot, Lu France Interiors is a home decor brand rooted in values of sustainability and social causes while honoring the artistry and traditions of the makers it collaborates with.
