"Inspired by Italian grottoes, and German and British castles, artist Christa Wilm translates the European love of underwater fantasies into a cultivated American shell art form.

The unique color, shape, and texture of Christa's South Seashells atelier designs - chandeliers, mirrors, paneling, decorations and jewelry - can be seen at Miami's Faena and the Palm Beach Breakers hotels in the Philippe Starck and Ralph Lauren projects, and the homes of sophisticated shell-art lovers worldwide. Christa's vision spurned an international seashell-decor revival 20 years ago, when she began using sea life in contemporary works of art."
