Reimagining Claude Monet’s Water Lilies through the lens of ancient Suzhou silk artistry, this circular masterpiece is a re-sculpting of light and water. Utilizing the prestigious random-Stitch technique, our artisans spent over months layering fine mulberry silk threads. Unlike traditional flat embroidery, this method allows for an impressionistic impasto effect where silk filaments are split to 1/16th of their natural diameter to capture the ephemeral transitions of light and shadow.
