Artist Statement "My work explores abstraction as a return to the simple act of seeing. By removing narrative and recognizable imagery, I allow color and form to exist freely, without fixed meaning. Inspired by the early way a child experiences the world, I create paintings that are open spaces rather than representations. I focus on the relationship between color and form, inviting viewers to slow down and experience the work in a direct, personal, and sensory way."
