Real pressed and preserved dried flower variety.

When it comes to home decor, I am a neutral gal through and through. My home will always have an earthy vibe, that is how I like it! Even in my everyday wear I tend to reach for neutrals more than color. I do love my occasional pop of color or statement piece, but I always find myself really connecting with those timeless and simple neutral colors.

For The Dry of the Earth I wanted to create a piece that is very boho inspired. I used botanicals that I had maneuvered into the desired shape during the pressing process.

A piece as neutral as this one, would work in any home design. Because of the versatility and rarity of color change, this will be the type of piece that I will make many of throughout my career as an artist.

Elegant art made from hand dried botanicals

Nature is art, and my art is nature. The sole medium that I currently work with is hand preserved flowers. The beauty of nature is temporary. Leaves change color and fall, flowers die, and natural disasters can change a whole mountain range. Sarah Ebert art gives new life to nature. A rose once given an expiration date is preserved to last decades. I hope that my pieces can resonate in ways that art has never been able to before. I love to recreate nature, with nature.
