Prastambh is a handcrafted sculptural floor lamp by Naaya Studio, featuring staggered geometric clay forms arranged in a vertical composition on a solid wood base.
The offset forms create a distinctive architectural silhouette, while openings between the clay units allow warm light to emerge through the structure. The combination of natural clay, geometric rhythm and wood makes Prastambh suitable for interiors where lighting is intended to contribute to the overall composition of the space.
Each lamp is individually handcrafted at Naaya Studio in Bangalore, India. It is available in three heights to suit different settings, from reading corners and lounge seating to libraries, hallways and larger residential interiors.
The lamp is made to order and offers choices of Beech or Walnut-finish wood base, black or white cord, and adjustable configuration options. Its modular construction allows units to be added or removed, subject to the available configuration and electrical requirements.
