Ultimate sophistication marks this collection of flush-mounts and suspensions. The Italian glass technique of “incalmo,” increasingly hard to accomplish in this mechanized world, allows this round shape to be banded with clean, crisp lines. This is truly a marriage of function and beauty. Mouth-blown in Venice, Italy. No two shades are exactly alike. There will always be variations, which are typical of a handmade product and contribute to its beauty. Wescover creator since 2017
Oggetti imports unique pieces from the Philippines and Italy. They enjoy the traveling, studio visits, and finding product that will be different and make a statement. Artisans in the Philippines have always done inlays on wood carcass. Whether it is shell, skin, or twigs, these designs are handmade and take a lot of craft and patience to construct. They have done well with their line of furniture made by inlaying twig and bamboo into a variety of unique forms. From the Vine in NYC to many other hotel properties, this collection is well suited for lobbies and common areas. This collection is also suited for outdoor use as it uses a waterproof resin.
