The leaf Pod pendant, manufactured by hand, and each leaf bears the finger and palm print of its maker
made with hundreds of stoneware fired ceramic leaves, this pendant warm but subtle glow is reminiscent of a campfire, leaves are loose and will "cling" with subtle movement and wind the leaf pods is available in many natural clay colors

The Leaf Pod
The pod shape is based on the bagworm cocoon, here in the arid regions of southern Africa we encounter numerous species of bagworm with Kotochalia junodi, a local resident., Cocoons fashioned with grass and sticks, the worm creates a perfect cozy environment to hide from predators.
Our pod shape light was born from this nifty little critter, the pod is created with numerous thin ceramic leaves that are draped on a steel frame.
The pods offer a strong sculptural shape in the daytime with a most beautiful glow of campfire and embers during the night.
This pod does not give you direct light we describe the light as the shadows of a tree canopy dappled in light
we offer four standard sizes with our custom sizes up to 6m or as big as the container would allow.
