Moss Meadows feels dense and quiet, like a small landscape held close to the ground. The greens, blues, and layered marks remind me of moss, wild growth, and the soft tangle of a field after rain. I wanted this piece to feel organic and calming, with little areas of movement that slowly reveal themselves. This image is produced as a limited edition of 25 prints total, across all sizes and formats. Once the edition has sold out, no additional prints of this image will be produced. A certificate of authenticity is included.

Lisa Carney is a Canadian abstract painter whose work emerges from intuition, rhythm, and a deep connection to landscape. Her practice unfolds through series such as GeoHorizon, GeoFlora, and Residual Fields, where layered acrylic surfaces explore color, gesture, and texture. Recurring drips appear throughout her work, serving as a metaphor for roots—connection, growth, and the unseen forces shaping our world. Rooted in abstraction yet suggestive of landscape and memory, Carney’s paintings invite contemplation and emotional engagement. She lives and works in the Montreal region, developing a seasonal studio practice in Prince Edward Island.
