This striking installation exemplifies my work at the intersection of fine art and commercial interiors. Commissioned for Modern Nomad in Denver, CO, the piece spans an impressive 20 feet wide by 14 feet tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs.
Handcrafted in my studio, the work began as five separate panels of hand-dyed and felted merino wool, later seamlessly woven together on-site. Collaborating closely with the client, we refined an abstract design that would serve as a powerful focal point—welcoming guests, sparking conversation, and elevating the ambiance of the space.
From initial palette exploration to small-scale mock-up, every stage of this project was tailored to meet the client’s vision while complementing the aesthetic and energy of the environment. Large-scale woven installations like this bring texture, warmth, and a sense of place to commercial settings, making them ideal for hotels, corporate spaces, and hospitality venues seeking both beauty and impact.
