The Misaki pendant lamp will bring an interesting and functional work of art to your interior. The origami-inspired lampshade is made of laminated linen fabric providing bright, yet soft ambient light and showing the beautiful texture of the linen. The material softly diffuses the light and lets some of the folding lines of our origami shades shine brightly emphasizing the geometric pattern. La Loupe is dedicated to creating lampshades that provide elegant and warm ambient lighting with a modern-retro style.

La Loupe is a Baltimore-based design studio focused on developing interior lighting fixtures and artistic For almost a decade, the studio has developed its collection of fiber and wood lighting fixtures focused on artisanal and small series production.
Our practice is based on the exploration of materials and forms, driven by a commitment to creating objects that lie at the intersection of craft, art, and design. The studio's name (from the French word for "magnifying glass") refers to a process of observation, exploration, and discovery that supports our creative approach.
Through artisanal processes combined with contemporary practices, the studio integrates fiber and wood to create sculptural pieces of art and lighting. Influenced by 20th-century art and design movements, our work is characterized by a pursuit of formal simplicity, geometric abstraction, and clean lines.
