3.5'x5.5' Baltic birch and maple; This piece was a study in combining straight and curved wooden elements. It was designed digitally, laser cut and then hand painted and assembled with a custom frame surround.

3D Wooden Art Inspired by Topography

started as a map making hobby. I was working as an architect in Manhattan and making topographic wooden maps in my spare time. Eventually, I began taking topographies of different places and morphing them into artistic works. These pieces are meant to undulate much like in nature. Craft and taste are of the utmost importance to me as a designer and artist.
