Simon Silver Designs is a Fine Furniture Studio based iSimon Silver Designs is a Fine Furniture and Custom Woodworking Studio based in Santa Cruz California. Our vision is to breathe new life into fallen trees, and use the beautiful medium that is wood to create masterful pieces of functional art. Our life goal is to respect and practice the art of salvaging trees and transforming them into fine heirloom furniture and woodwork in the most organic way possible. Each slab of wood that becomes a table or furniture piece can be traced back to an exact location, and reason for being felled, be it by natural causes, due to tree sickness, or danger to a nearby home. The capabilities of our shop are expansive, from custom sawn lumber orders, large scale conference tables, to front entry doors.
