Architectural Abstraction | Figuration
Leslie Poteet Busker is an American artist working in architectural abstraction and the reduced figure. Her work is built through compression and control - layered surfaces, a restricted palette, and a disciplined reduction that removes the image to its essential form.
Architectural layering produces artifact-like surfaces, held in stillness and silence. Alongside this work, she produces a small series of black and white swirl studies - refined compositions exploring movement within constraint. Her work is held in private and corporate collections across the United Stated and Europe, including Marriott International.
