The Concept
Inspired by the rare Shijin Taishi Chair from the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou—one of the four great classical gardens of China—this trio represents a masterly evolution of Eastern aesthetics by designers Yuchen and Judy. Originally a symbol of power and status, this set is designed to anchor modern Western executive spaces through a strategic "Aesthetic Conflict"—using the dignity, upright lines, and structural purity of the Ming form to provide a profound counterpoint to the cold stone and industrial minimalism of contemporary business environments.
The Craft and Material
Meticulously executed in Imperial Midnight Black-Gold, a rare timber celebrated for its iron-like, sinking-grade density. The visual profile features a deep nocturnal black interlaced with cold, crystalline gold streaks, offering a "Golden Glow" within a midnight void.
The Inlay: Features natural cloud marble (cloud stone) backsplats, where the stone’s natural mineral veins mimic traditional Chinese ink-wash landscapes.
The Engineering: Employs the "Four Legs from One Timber" technique, requiring flawless, large-scale material to ensure absolute structural and visual continuity.
The Structure: 100% handcrafted using traditional nail-free mortise and tenon joinery, ensuring a "Sea-Calming" presence and eternal durability.
