This Minimalist "Plain" Horseshoe Armchair (Quanyi) Trio represents the pinnacle of Ming Dynasty aesthetics, reimagined for the modern world by designers Yuchen and Judy. Inspired by rare auction-grade originals, this set embodies the "Simple is Complex" philosophy. By stripping away all carvings and ornamentation, the focus shifts entirely to the "Conflict Aesthetic"—where the warmth and organic structure of Eastern tradition provide a profound counterpoint to the cold stone and industrial lines of contemporary Western business environments.
The Craft and Material
Meticulously crafted from Royal Crimson Flamewood, a rare timber characterized by molten magma-like red and black textures and a profound, sinking-grade density. Because the design is entirely unadorned, the material selection is exceptionally rigorous, requiring flawless timber with perfect grain alignment.
The Engineering: Employs the "Four Legs from One Timber" (integrated construction) technique, ensuring absolute structural and visual continuity.
The Joinery: 100% handcrafted using traditional nail-free mortise and tenon (Sunmao) joints. Every inch reflects a density that anchors the room, serving as a "Sea-Calming Needle" for the executive study.
