Last Lights is an original mixed media painting on canvas by Italian contemporary artist Dario Moschetta, measuring 60×60 cm. My work is built from the street up. Layers of acrylic paint, torn paper, and glue applied directly onto canvas — worked, pressed, and left to dry rough. The surface is never smooth. It breathes, catches light unevenly, holds texture the way a city wall does after years of weather and posted bills.

I paint bodies, faces, and the pulse of urban life. Figures pulled from the crowd. Statues reinvented with textures borrowed from nature — bark, stone, organic form — set against dark, ambiguous backgrounds. Cityscapes that feel inhabited, worn, alive. The finished piece looks like something that has already lived a long life before it arrived on your wall.

Based in Padova, my work has been acquired for permanent collections across Europe and the United States, including the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris and the Torre Velasca complex in Milan. I've shown at The Other Art Fair London, Red Dot Miami, and Artrooms London, and collaborated with publishers in Miami, London, and New York.
