Lagon Bleu feels luminous and constantly shifting, somewhere between water, reflection, and wild vegetation. Layered blues, flashes of lime green, soft creams, and darker navy passages move across the surface in a fluid, almost suspended way.
The vertical drips and flowing textures gave this painting a lot of movement from the very beginning. I liked letting everything stay loose and atmospheric instead of trying to define the forms too clearly.
