Wall sculpture comprised of 12 hand coiled pieces. Natural cotton fibers are hand coiled on repurposed rope. Each element of the sculpture is a unique and organic infinite knot shape.
Each element is lightweight and easy to install with a hidden hook on the back.
This iteration of Infinite Loops is in soft rainbow hues. The reference to refracted light adding another layer of meaning to the sundial slightly off-kilter. Recalling the sun goddess Saule, as the most powerful deity and creator of the universe, the sun goddess is usually represented as a circle of silver or gold in Baltic mythology. As time passes the sun goddess dances. Each continuous formation is a variation on that movement changing throughout the day as light and shadows shift, along with our perception of time in general. In this case the waves of light itself are visible in all prismatic colors.
