This painting was a months-long process. Transforming slowly and passionately. Showing gratitude to the many faces she's worn; we've displayed her in various conditions, all beautiful in their own right. I picked her up and put her down, time and time again, besides fleeting inspiration and conceptual ideas. She has been through many stages; she has shifted and formed new personas. She stood patiently as I planted seeds, trimmed back her weeds, and watered her flowers. A multitude of entities co-existing within one another, unaware that one day she will evolve into her final form, "hunter's moon".
